CHANGING SOCIETY

changing society starts with a simple question, Bagay ba yung sando ko sa tsinelas ko? " that question reflects the simplicity of a person who wears it. Nowadays we are looking for competitors who has this creativity in their mind, the progression of a community is not just about the the ability of well known individuals, but a power combined by each head,the human power. Should i say then, two or more heads are better than one? Ability is not defined by one's status, or looks,not even money. though people's perception usually boils down to the outward appearance,one may say,"i am a dead kid", "i am nothing", with that idea, they are having this unnoticeable defective judgment to their-selves (others) for their basis of comparison is the people surrounding them. Going back to the question w/c i just stated earlier. Fashion is a vehicle for a changing society, and even if we single out that a person is useless, not talented, dead-kid, and has nothing to offer, let it be stated then, the fact that he was able to mix and match his outfit for the day,it may look good to one's eye or not, it starts from there. It's finding something out of nothing. SANDO AT TSINELAS IS A MIND IN PROGRESS.!

RIGHT CROWD

RIGHT CROWD

choosing a friend is like asking yourself who are you trying to resemble? or who are you trying to imitate?. for unconsciously, you will be surprised, seeing yourself exactly as who your friends are. Little  by little you will be adopting their ways, their attitude, understanding, perceptions,impression or expression which always starts on little things, just as i remember when i was in 5th grade, i had this classmate who puts her retainers on, and so i had one for myself and some of my classmates. Another example, high-school students want to have the same ball-pen that has  feathers on its top, or they want to walk with the same bag, or shoes. if one of them has their bangs, they will also put one. if one of them had her curly hair, definitely the rest of the group will follow. And that's what the group is trying to point out, to have their identity. and the question is, what kind of identity do you want to have?.

Hang out with the right people, one of my major realizations in life. As a student, (and for those students who are reading this,) its not just about having good and high grades because of them or the motivation your friends are giving you, It's simply more than that.

Keeping yourself on the right track.
Are you at the right track now? What kind of people do you usually spend your time with?  Answering these basic questions, will help you  scrutinize this present area of your life, if your still walking on a right path or not at all. One of the  greatest blessings in my life is to have a christian family who really seeks the Lord.  I  know my parents is my source of wisdom. I've seen the significance of their words, and their peace of mind really matters. Try to go beyond their words, you will be amazed how they can just turn your life into something better.

PROVERBS 6:20-23
20My son, keep your father’s command
   and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
21 Bind them always on your heart;
   fasten them around your neck.
22 When you walk, they will guide you;
   when you sleep, they will watch over you;
   when you awake, they will speak to you.
23 For this command is a lamp,
   this teaching is a light,
and correction and instruction
   are the way to life,

RIGHT DECISION.

A RULER IS DRAWN FROM THE MASSES, POWER IS AUTHORED BY THE PEOPLE, AND POSITION IS MANAGED BY EACH AND EVERY CITIZEN. THESE MUST COME UP FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL LIFE, FOR IT IS WE, THE CITIZENS, WHO MOST FEEL THE MAJOR CONCERNS OF OUR REPUBLIC. THE OUTCOME WILL GIVE US PEACE IF WE MANGE TO MAKE A RIGHT DECISION.

WHAT MAKES A NATION

Nation, without knowing its own identity is like a sailboat going nowhere even in the calm sea. We need to see first our role in the land we are stepping into, and utilize and protect what’s in it.

To be called a nation, we all have a vital role basically as a part of family which is the smallest unit of a community. A country without a vocation can not be a nation. Progression is a key to what fulfills a nation.

The ideals of the majority is always the decision of the authorities of the country (well, of course it’s dependent on the form of government existing in each country). The perspective of a person determines what would become his nation.

We are people. We are what makes history. The future generation makes another history through what we have imparted to them as it is recorded in the events of a nation.

If we’d come to the point of really understanding our importance in the nation we belong to, then we’ll make a better future. The wisdom that was given us will be of use if we are to think of what will make this world as a whole a better place to live in tomorrow.

The time is now for us to pass on better ideals. Let us seize every opportunity to make every ear hear and listen what we’ve got to say.
Our country, the Philippines for example is very rich in natural resources, in values, in knowledge. The Filipinos are gifted with I believe extraordinary intellect and physical strength to cope with every circumstance the country is facing right now, not to mention poverty. And it’s about time that we don’t waste an effort of really looking into the strength that we’ve got as a nation.

Objective and unselfish living will always produce a great change. As it is said, ‘ no man is an island”, we should think of others too and all of us would benefit from it.

What makes a nation is the result of the past and the present. What makes a nation is a future that can still be changed by the present that is being worked out today. And it means us. You and me. This is our territory. Let’s learn and be knowledgeable and pass it on. We can’t give what we don’t have. Let’s seize opportunities and explore and learn and impart.

GIVE ME HIGH 5! 5things about me

*music and fashion, something i cant live without,
earphones and sewing machine..

*"artehan fashionline"
wardrobe stylist.
fashion is a vehicle for a changing society, ( same with music. )
i have this great passion in indian style combined with bohemian and hippie wardrobe, with this great indulgence on their outfits, "sarong" is a must in my everyday look,since i was 12 yrs.old. (lol, you might see me not wearing it, but check out whats inside my bag)
with my name and my sarong,(along with my articles re.politics) i was asked many times by my professor, "muslim ka ba?"
NO. im a christian.

*"music
Yes, im a christian making music for the Lord. i love jazz and reggae,
i can stay up the whole day, playing my guitar and keyboard. From all the talents that i have, its not enough to show people that God has been generous giving you skills, we have to impart what we have. so i only spend my Saturdays teaching.

*kids
(i teach kids.)ive been receiving so much love from many people,they molded me, inspires me, motivates me, and strengthens me and these love is like a water continuously flowing in my heart.(want nothing but to share what i have to those little kids.)

*i am socially oriented person aware enough on what is going on in my surroundings, and so my heart easily stirs up whenever there will be news re. unfair trial, inequality or injustice,it will definitely roar around my mind the whole night ends me up getting my pen and my notes.

*i hate this saying, "'men is judged based in your color, and what is between your legs. ""
identity is defined by our actions and not by the words of other people so NEVER put yourself on that perception. we are all equally given a chance to prove ourselves,with equal opportunity to be seized. and so we must understand that each personality is recognized by our achievements and lifestyle.

EVERYTHING FOR A REASON

Everything for a reason

Failure has never been a surprise to the pattern of human life. Nothing is new as they say; sometimes you’re down or sometimes you’re up.

Early 2009.My heart was at the lowest…, and sadness was roaring around my being. But no matter what failure I had, . I’m still delighted for I have gained a lot of things from my experiences. Finally I found 2009 as a newly made Arra. I may not be able to do the things that I ‘am supposed to do, but my heart is filled with joy for God has shown me his promises to my life.

Things has never been easy, my skills are not enough to become who I really want to be, but within Gods’ will he will bring me to the place that I’ve been waiting for. In human context of life there will always be failure but the Lord never fails.

So as I go, and pursue the path that I have chosen, my heart is expectant. Definitely, I won’t allow emotions to overpower me. Checking on my goals, I will make sure that whatever I will pursue this year would have something to do with what I will become. My 2009 has been very productive and and has never been frazzled from my busy schedule for I know every entity that I do will bring joy to my family, and will never be in vain to the eyes of the Lord.

After all I realized I am so blessed, for the life that Jesus gave me is filled with hope love and His faithfulness over us. Will always be excited as the Lord prepares the way to the promises that he has instored for me.
